BOLD WAR STORIES
2012 year, Bold War mainland, territory area : WINE DESERT
The warm, dry wind of the Wine desert zone beat mercilessly in the face. Sand and dust filled the air, creating a feeling of silent, merciless emptiness. Inside the cockpit of the plane flown by Kenned and Jawbone, silence reigned, broken only by the hum of the engines and the faint noise of the instruments.
— It's all right, Jawbone. We're almost there, the cargo is secure," Kenned said quietly, trying not to show any excitement. "There are no spies in sight, and that's a good thing" .
"I hope it stays that way. But be careful. These milses are as cunning as foxes. They can adjust at any moment," he replied, looking ahead into the horizon where the horizon line loomed.
Suddenly, a soft rustle was heard from the boxes with cargo located in the rear of the cab. The attention of both of them instantly switched.
— "Whata hell...?" — Kenned muttered, narrowing his eyes.
In the next second, Milses armed spies jumped out of the cockpit doors, dressed in camouflage, with masks and machine guns in their hands. Their goal is to intercept the plane and destroy its crew.
Acium said "Don't let them go! Quickly, grab the cargo!" And he rushed forward, clutching his submachine gun.
Jawbone reacted instantly. Without hesitation, he jumped up and ran out of the cab, deftly drawing his pistol. Thoughts flashed through his head - to save the cargo, protect the team, prevent the failure of the mission.
"Don't miss the plane!" He shouted to Kenned, and opened fire on the enemy .
He aimed at one of the spies, aiming at the head. He collapsed backwards, as if knocked down.
Gutto said with shouting "Damn it, he's shooting!" Protect your cargo!
One of the spies shot Jawbone to respond. The bullet pierced S.F.F.G.'s protective suit and hit him directly in the leg. He collapsed to the floor, breathing heavily, blood dripping onto the floor of the cabin.
Kenned (shouting):
"Jawbone, no! FUCKING bastards!" And instantly got out of the cockpit to help his comrade.
He saw another spy aiming at him from behind the crates. At that moment, Kenned's heart sank - he realized that the situation was getting out of control.
"What idiots!" he shouted. "Jaw, hold on!"
He quickly aimed and fired, his bullet hitting the gas cylinders located inside the boxes with the cargo. The explosion thundered inside the cockpit, blinding and rumbling. The entire structure shattered into pieces, and the spies and cargo boxes were thrown down into the desert sands.
Kenned (shouting):
"Hold on! We are falling! " And he began to fly the plane to stabilize the descent.
The plane slowly began to descend, leaving behind clouds of dust and fine sand, jets of smoke and fire swirled.
---
The **Wine Desert** stretches all around, lifeless and endless. Panic reigned inside the plane, but the pilots - professionals - worked in unison .
Kenned held the handles, stabilizing the descent, and next to him was Jawbone, with a bleeding leg, but still alive.
"It's okay, Jaw," Kenned said, "you're good. We got out of this shit" .
Jawbone (in a dying voice):
"I hope the cargo was not damaged... And spies... They were too close. In case of anything, Kenned, please call for help and revive me, okay?
"Of course, hold on, you can still live until you respawn in the capsule." —
Said by Kenned
The plane began to descend slowly, lower and lower. Soon a lifeless landscape stretched out in front of them - sands, rocks and rare bushes. The wind blew away the dust, creating the illusion of moving waves .
"Attention, this is Stryker, we are approaching near the mountain and multi-storey buildings, as you can see, reception," one of the pilots said on the radio.
The plane landed with a huge sand explosion, causing a dust dust storm. Silence reigned inside the carriage - everyone was concentrated to prevent panic.
Kenned quickly organized the evacuation. He helped Jawbone out of the cockpit, and the two headed for cover, preparing for a possible attack or threat.
---
In a safe area, in a small shelter, Kenned and Jawbone examined the wounds and prepared for possible new threats.
At that moment, a truck with medicines and the military drove up - their team quickly provided assistance.
"It's okay," Kenned said, "we did it. But you need to be ready. Mills will not stop" .
Soon, from over the horizon, there was a noise - an enemy detachment was approaching. They were armed, and their goal was to destroy the remainder.
"We've got to go, hurry!" One of the soldiers shouted.
Kenned realized that the situation was escalating again. He looked at Jawbone, who, despite his wound, was determined.
"Hurry, to cover!" he ordered .
The crew rushed to cover, dodging fire. At that moment, another spy appeared from behind the sands, trying to intercept them.
Kenned, seeing him, quickly reacted: "Don't miss it!
He aimed and wounded the spy - the bullet hit the leg. He collapsed, groaning in pain.
At this time, in the sky, they noticed how one of the cargo boxes blown up earlier began to fall down, and the blast wave raised dust and sand.
---
Despite the danger, the team was able to evacuate and take refuge in a safe place. Kenned helped Jawbone get to the nearby deserted barracks, where he was revived with the help of the Renaissance.
A few hours later, when the danger was over, Kenned called Sergeant Ramaday.
— Sergeant," he said sternly, "we made a mistake. We were not ready for such an attack. Next time, we should be better prepared.
**Ramaday (discreet):**
"I understand, Kenned. But, try to do everything so that this does not happen again. We will not be able to pull you out a second time.
Kenned sighed, relieved that his ally was alive and well, but realizing that their main battle was not over yet.
"We survived. And this is a lesson. The enemy does not sleep. The sergeant said, looking at the horizon, where the last sounds of battle faded away.
